The title of this artwork is titled, St Pauls London. It was created in 2015. This is one of the series from five platinum palladium prints on Fabriano Artistico 300 gsm. The size of this work is 61.5 x 76.6 cm. I like the blurred effect. Idris Khan is a contemporary British artist. He creates photography, videos and sculptures through processing images layered multiple times. He captures blurred effects in depth. He uses Photoshop and uses the paintbrush tool to create a visual language demonstrated in his works. He works by using repetition built in his series of images which are digitally layered and altered. I researched Idris Khan as I was interested in his use of effects of blurriness. For future development practice, I would like to explore his techniques of using repetition by; exploring with the effectiveness of blurriness in monochrome exploring with photography, photoshop and printmaking methods.
